We honestly couldn’t recommend Kinsale Hotel & Spa highly enough as a wedding venue. From the moment we met Laura Ryan, she was so helpful and easy to deal with. Communication was excellent throughout the planning process. Whether we had a big question or a small one, Laura was always quick to reply, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. On the day, Laura and Ronan Fahy welcomed us and immediately put us at ease. They were great craic while ensuring everything ran seamlessly behind the scenes. Every detail & request we had discussed was taken care of perfectly, allowing us to completely relax and enjoy our day. The drinks reception area inside was stunning, but we were lucky enough to have gorgeous weather & enjoy the balcony outside. The hotel & its grounds looked incredible in the sunshine and provided a beautiful setting for photographs. The semi circular reception room created an amazing atmosphere, with glass overlooking the gorgeous scenery. The dance floor was full all night, with the lounge chairs on the balcony giving people a chance to sit, chat and still watch the antics. The bar service was excellent, and plenty of restrooms which is so important. The dinner was amazing, the service between courses was smooth and efficient, and all dietary requirements were handled perfectly. Our guests loved their rooms and the breakfast was top-class. Some even made it to the newly renovated spa the next morning! The entire team were so friendly and accommodating. Our band commented on how organised and easy the hotel was to work with. There was plenty of parking, and the team looked after wheelchair parking and accessible rooms perfectly, which meant so much to us. Kinsale Hotel & Spa is truly a hidden gem. We will always look back on our wedding day with the happiest memories. The Kinsale Hotel and Spa was the perfect venue for our wedding. The staff were amazing from start to finish — so helpful and friendly, they felt like part of our day rather than just the team running it. We coordinated the whole wedding from abroad, and Laura, our wedding coordinator, made the entire process easy and seamless, from our very first call right through to the day itself. Everything was professional, but still personal and warm. Food was one of the most important parts of the day for us and I cannot speak highly enough about the food - it was simply outstanding . We also had so much positive feedback from all of our guests. It was all delicious. We also had guests with strict dietary requirements, and the hotel went out of their way to make sure everyone had a delicious meal to enjoy. We had guests fly in from the States who stayed the whole weekend. The reservations team were brilliant, helping to coordinate rooms for our guests, many of whom were spread across different time zones. We would have been lost without them. We had our ceremony at the hotel too and it was all so seamless and perfect. The grounds are absolutely stunning too and gave us so many beautiful photos. So many of our guests told us it was one of the best weddings they'd ever been to and a huge part of that is down to the venue and the incredible team at Kinsale Hotel and Spa.

Laura, our wedding coordinator, was fantastic and made sure everything ran so smoothly. She was so helpful, attentive and kept in contact with us during the lead up to our wedding. All of the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and accommodating, and nothing ever seemed like too much trouble. Ronan, the Manager, deserves a special mention for going above and beyond for us and all of our guests. His attention to detail and genuine care made such a difference and really helped make the day so special. We stayed in one of the lodges the night before the wedding, and it was fantastic. We especially loved the beautiful outdoor area, which was perfect for getting ready and taking photos on the morning of the wedding. The food throughout the day was absolutely gorgeous, and every part of the day and night had such a lovely atmosphere. Our guests couldn’t speak highly enough of the hotel, the staff and the whole experience. We are so grateful to everyone at the Kinsale Hotel & Spa for helping make our wedding day so memorable. We honestly couldn't be happier with our choice of this hotel for our wedding. Laura was amazing throughout all the planning and preparations. The entire staff couldn't be nicer and more welcoming. From the moment we met them at their wedding showcase, which We would also really recommend, we knew it was the perfect venue for us. The location and views are breathtaking but what makes it stand out is the support, help and guidance we got from Laura and the wider team throughout our wedding planning. The day of our wedding ran so incredibly smoothly, I couldn’t believe it. We prayed for sunny skies and I couldn’t imagine having an indoor reception. Of course, rain fell from the heavens and now, I’m so glad it did. The indoor reception was set up so beautifully, there was plenty of space for our 200 guests and everyone was raving about the drinks reception service and nibbles on offer. The team checked in when needed and there was always someone close by, even if it was for a spray to freshen up

Laura was fantastic from the start and so patient with all our questions. She was always just an email or phone call away, and she was a huge help on the day itself. From our initial meeting, to our menu tasting, and right through to the day itself, the team made us feel genuinely looked after. The food on the day was superb—so many of our guests commented on how amazing it was. The location of the function room was another highlight, with fantastic views over Oysterhaven Bay. We know the venue at the Kinsale hotel is amazing, a beautiful ballroom, stunning views and inviting accommodation. But my wife and I were blown away by the service from all the staff. Every request and need, they were there for us. They were amazing in helping with the planning and generating ideas. Knew all the best vendors in Cork. The food was sublime. I highly recommend the sea bass. We could not have asked for more.

We had our wedding in July 2024. Kinsale Hotel and Spa were amazing to deal with from the time we went to view the venue right up to the wedding itself. The venue itself is in a beautiful location with gorgeous views. The reception area is open and airy, leading out to a large terrace, which we got to enjoy during the summer weather. The banqueting suite was tastefully decorated, open to the views and terrace, and the day went by without a hitch. The guest rooms were also recently refurbished, and everyone enjoyed their stay. I can't recommend them enough as a wedding venue.

We had our full wedding ceremony and afters in the Kinsale Hotel, we couldn't have asked for a more Special Day. Our Wedding coordinator, Laura, was amazing both in the lead up to wedding and the wedding day itself. Any questions we had in regard to the wedding day itself were answered swiftly by Laura and her wedding team allowing the day to run like clock-work. Our minds were constantly at ease. The venue and decor were amazing & modern with fantastic views from the balcony where we got our photos and also had our firework display. If you are thinking of having fireworks for your wedding evening, look no further then the Kinsale Hotel. The photographic moment of fireworks over the bay from the hotel are amazing. A big shout out to John as well, who helped us in our wedding journey both leading up to it and on the day. Not forgetting Sarah, who sat down with us for 2 and half hours a week before the wedding, sorting out rooms and rates for our guests to make sure everyone was sorted. The bar staff on the day were pleasant and friendly. An overall brilliant experience from all the team at the Kinsale Hotel to make the day unforgettable! We had our wedding at Kinsale Hotel & Spa and we had the best day. We were planning our wedding from Singapore, and from the beginning, the wedding co-ordinator, Laura was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Laura and team were incredibly professional, organised and attentive to every detail. They made the planning process so smooth, especially when planning from abroad. As we were living in Singapore, we wanted to have Singapore Sling cocktails at our drinks reception. During our menu tasting, we were given the opportunity to taste the cocktail. As it was a new cocktail for the bar, they made 4 batches for us as they perfected the recipe from our feedback after each batch until we were completely satisfied. On the day itself, the hotel set up a small bar to make the cocktails fresh. They went down an absolute treat and it's something we still receive comments about to this day. Throughout our wedding day, the staff were very attentive, friendly and courteous to our guests. The meal was exceptional. The presentation, flavour and service were impeccable. The chef even came out to check on us personally. Our guests are still raving about how amazing the food was. We would like to say a special thank you to John who looked after us all weekend. John was fantastic. He ensured we had everything we needed and always has a big smile on his face. We really appreciated him just having the chats with our parents, family and guests at the wedding and throughout the whole weekend. He was professional, organised and just so friendly. The Kinsale Hotel & Spa was the dream wedding venue! We were able to plan the whole wedding while living abroad in the US, and they made the experience seamless and fun. The hotel hosted our guests from 4 countries, 14 US states and from all over Munster and they all had glowing reviews about the hotel and food. Our ceremony was outside on the patio on a sunny day and the views made it feel like a fairytale! Recommend this hidden gem to anyone planning their big day!

Hotel was great, especially the staff. We found the room perfect for the size of our wedding (100 guests). Food was very good. Location so close to Kinsale and allowed for a very good day 2 in the town. The room rate for guests was the main selling point, was very reasonable considering the proximity to Kinsale .

The most amazing venue with the BEST wedding events team by far. We brought the Limerick to Cork for our big day and they are all still talking about it. Food was second to none. The reception entertainment was the best and set the vibe for the rest of the night. The value for money was truly amazing. We wanted our day to be the most memorable and nothing was an issue when we wanted to make it happen. Laura and John were amazing. Any time we went to the hotel whether it was wedding related or not, we were treated like royalty. From the bar to the restaurant, we were looked after. The hotel itself is in the most stunning location and we were able to take full advantage of that on out big day. On the day itself, I didn't need to ask for one thing. I did not have one worry, I was able to enjoy my morning completely stress free Laura and the team were on hand bright and early, I was able to entrust them with the decor, room set up, cake etc. Everything was exactly how we wanted it. John even came in on his day off to ensure everything was running to plan. Our day was truly amazing. Everything was absolutely perfect. We floated through our day on a cloud, completely oblivious to all the background work that was being done. I would do it all again tomorrow and The Kinsale Hotel and Spa would be our venue choice hands down.

We initially met the team at a wedding showcase at Pairc ui Chaoimh. We were immediately impressed with their professionalism and approachability. After a brief discussion amongst ourselves and a stop off at the hotel on the way home, we quickly settled on it being our venue. Ronan, Laura and John were absolutely amazing from start to finish, friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable and fun to deal with. They went above and beyond in every way for us throughout our journey to the wedding day. On the day, we were blown away by the smoothness and professionalism of everything. Staff were on the ball, friendly and courteous to guests, the canapes on arrival were gobbled up and left our guests salivating for more. The meal was out of this world. The presentation, flavour and service were impeccable. I gazed from the top table in awe at the front of house team and how they seamlessly dropped plates off to each guest. Nobody was waiting too long for food, and the way they manned each table during service was nothing short of amazing. I thought that sort of service had long since been forgotten. All the way through the day and night, the team at Kinsale Hotel and Spa blew us away, from the greeting on arrival to us loading our car the next day, nothing was too big or small a task. I would gladly deal with them again and would recommend them to any newly engaged couples. The setting as you loom out across the bay was like something out of a postcard. 12 out of 10 from us

Everything ran like clockwork. We were both delighted with the day. It seems also that the guests enjoyed the day thoroughly. All the staff were great, the food and the ambience created were excellent. The preparation work was pretty straightforward and professional. For any prospective couples, I would highly recommend having a musician at the reception. It wasn't something we had thought of but it really set the tone for the day. Overall, I would have no problem in recommending Kinsale Hotel for your wedding as besides the scenic surroundings, the professional staff will take the stress away from the day allowing a couple the chance to enjoy and savour every moment.
