Venue Solutions Specialist

Job Description

Location: You must be living in the UK or Ireland. This is a remote role, with regular travel.

At WeddingDates, we provide technology solutions to hotel owners and managers in the wedding industry, empowering them to increase revenue and streamline operations. We are looking for a dynamic and driven individual to join our team, selling WedPro software. Building and maintaining strong relationships at all levels of an organisation is key to succeeding in this role.

This role encompasses multiple aspects of the sales function. Primarily you will be generating new business, however, you will also manage upselling to existing accounts.


Key Responsibilities:

New Business Development

- Identify and engage prospective clients through research, prospecting, cold calls, and pipeline building.

- Conduct discovery calls to understand clients' needs, challenges, and objectives.

- Deliver tailored product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value of our WedPro solution.

- Prepare customised proposals highlighting the ROI and benefits of WedPro and other products.

- Lead negotiations to secure mutually beneficial agreements, ensuring maximum value while building long-term relationships.

- Attend networking events, conferences, and trade shows to represent WeddingDates and grow brand awareness.

- Develop and host engaging webinars to generate leads and educate potential clients.

Account Management

- Respond promptly to inbound client requests, offering guidance and support where required.

- Build and nurture relationships with key accounts, conducting regular review calls, offering expert guidance on best practice and ensuring client satisfaction.

Collaboration & Teamwork

- Partner with the Marketing and Sales teams to develop strategies to nurture prospects and leads to drive sales and upsell opportunities.

- Share customer feedback and insights with the Customer Success and Development team to support product improvement.

- Work closely with your manager on forecasting.

Reporting & Administration

- Maintain records of sales activities, opportunities, and client interactions using OnePage CRM.

- Regularly update and report on sales performance metrics and progress.

 

About You

    - Has a strong network and knowledge of the wedding hospitality industry.

    - Possesses exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

    - Is a self-starter who thrives in a remote working environment but is also comfortable engaging with clients in person.

    - Has ideally 3–5 years of proven sales experience in hospitality, with a record of achieving results.

    - Has experience with delivering webinars, public speaking, delivering effective presentations.

    - Has some experience in content creation such as presentations and social media

    - Demonstrates strong organisational skills, including diary management, calendar upkeep, and attention to detail.

    - Aligns with WeddingDates’ goals and purpose.

    - Maintains a professional demeanour and appearance.

    - Is available to travel within the UK and Ireland.

    - Holds a full, clean driving licence and has access to a car.
